My beloved 2013 Prius v was rear-ended and I am assuming totaled. Used prices today for comparable cars are literally double what I paid in 2019 (not including what I spent to replace the head gasket). The new tax credit for used EVs is up to $4000 and would help a lot. However it appears that it only applies to cars with a 7kWh battery capacity. Am I correct that the Prius v doesn't qualify? Any recommendations for a used car that is similar (mpg, cargo space, price)?
