Techstream / Gen 2 quick question

    I tried without success this morning to connect Techstream to a 2008. The car was in ready mode when I connected to the OBDII. Does Gen 2 require a different procedure?

    I have the dealer toughbook portable computer win7 pro. I have car on dash lit up plug cable into obd port computer running USB inserted from screen select connect to car follow screen prompts. Select if smart key etc . I don't know how the copies of text stream were a little blue box in between the OBD cable and the computer and all that not sure what screens and all the displayed with those I have the dealers toughbook computer type setup

    I usually connect it with Ignition on but no ready on. Out of 10 times it is connecting maybe 7. I turn off everything, disconnect cable, reboot and then works.
