Imagine my surprise to see Tesla headline news on the front page of the Albuquerque Tribune two days ago. The company talked up their roadster, and plans to build a 50k - 70k sedan in 2008. The area where the plant may be built has been intel for years, but they are closing fabs down. Of course, the local republican newsrag had to interject FUD how Tesla is an unproven car company blah blah blah. Nice way to greet a new tech company. Any PriusChatter buying one has an open offer to stay with my family while in town.
