I have been following Tesla with mild interest. Here is what I consider to be a very balanced op-ed piece.
i read that article last night. very poorly written imo, but probably accurate. tough to say which way things will go, and idk if cash flow adds any helpful data. as far as i can tell, if demand keeps up, the company will be fine. but idk how the stock price will be affected.
Everybody always says that "The stock market is NOT the economy, and the economy is NOT the stock market!" ....of course they generally say that when they're defending a company or a gov.mint official that is.....under-performing. I'll read the article in a bit, but if it's "balanced" it's going to be de-rided by both sides.....poorly written or not. I can usually read the opinions of several people and tell from which bleachers the author is cheering from.... Edit: OK.... I read the piece, and yeah....I missed my calling, I think. A behavioral economist??? Who knew? Anyway, to me, the phrase that pays is..... ..."Can investors and analysts trust Musk’s statement about Tesla turning free cash flow positive?" That pretty much says it all.
The top 1% owns 50% of the market. The top 10% owns 90% of the market. The market is not the economy. The economy is not the market.
