and have to say we're somewhat hooked . The drive was mostly city and a few back roads for about 15 miles . The end of the trip showed 49.8 miles for current and 33.8 overall with a total of 39 miles on it . The ride was a bit bumpy on the rough back roads probably due to the tire pressure being overfull from the factory ( 40+ p.s.i. ) . It's fun to watch all the different displays like the '07 Prius we had . Wish there was more of an opening for the hatch , otherwise plenty of headroom and space for legs . Will have to give a few more a try . Gettin' the itch :eyebrows: .
I  the black , her :nono: . Reason being that Black shows up dirt more , leading to more :washing: . Forgot to mention that we thought we heard a few rattles on the patched up back roads . Had to fix a very loud rattle in the dash of the '08 Yaris sedan not long after buying it new . It was the center display . Fixed it with sticky back felt at certain points . So far , so good . Still have some lingering in other parts of dash , doors , and rear window area . Gave up on it . Turn up the radio to drown them out . That part of getting another Toyota bugs us a bit .
I didnt even test drive it! Took it right off the lot and was stuck in traffic lol. I agree rides rough at first but it gets up to speed quickly and i find myself speeding most of the time.
The test drive is what really sold me on my C3. I was skeptical having never driven a true hybrid before and expected a pea-shooter. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of pickup I was able to get by mashing the pedal. It's not a Lambo or anything but it was enough to get me into traffic on the freeway here is all I really need.
I test drove a black C2 last Weds. and wasn't super stoked; I ended up buying it on Sat.! Liking it the more I drive it. Paint looks great in the Sun!
