    Now I was never a fan of deployment of ballistic missile defense systems as too many of them looked way too complex -> unreliable. But this little puppy makes a lot of sense:

    Looks like a good, point defense system. It may not reach to to nuclear warhead ranges but it is enough to give a lot of tactical relief.

    As the technology gets smaller, and the on-board logic time gets faster... these weapons systems will become more dependable and valuable for the survival of the boots on the ground.

    I remember reading about when we had Nike systems deployed that were 65% reliable... that still meant one out of three incoming threats/targets got through.
