Great photos. Thanks for sharing. I wish I could have been there to see that many Prius in one location.
Pretty sweet man. Glad I didn't go because I would of gotten stuck going down that road. Looks like it was a sweet event though.
Aside from efusco and Danny who couldn't make it, we had most of the Prius Experts there as well - Paradox, myself (HTMLSpinnr), TonyPSchaefer, and Tideland Prius at the event as well, in addition to Russel Frost, Linda Weideman, and talonts (Tom Stangl). This was a fantastic event with plenty to see and do and some spectacular views. Thanks again Prius Team!
I thought I was going to go, but never got a call from the Toyota Team! Darn, I would have like to have attended, if nothing else just to meet some of the folks! Maybe next decade!!
fun time! ... I think Linda Weidemann and I are STILL hung over. It was great to meet so many fabulous people!
Re: fun time! You guys were tipsy that night?! Great finally meeting you Dianne, it's so great to put a face to a name! Oh, and I told my wife about the Boston not Brooklyn accent thing, and like I said, she didn't like hearing the whole Boston thing haha. That damn Yankee-Boston rivalry thing is so out of control! Also as Rick mentioned, Thank You yet again Doug, Erica and all else involved in making this event possible. A fun time was had by all!
Re: fun time! LIGHTWEIGHTS! Though I will admit that between the Veev and endless wine, I was still lightly buzzed when I went to sleep around 2-3am. Snapped wide awake at 5am, and had to force myself to go back to sleep before getting ready for the flight home. Packing 99% of my stuff the night before sure helped out.
Ahem. No one told ME the VeeV was 30 proof. Or, alcohol. With all that stuff they added and mixed up, it tasted like a soda. Once Linda and I hit the chardonnay it was a lost cause.
Weeellll, actually, Veev is 60 proof, 30% alcohol. So yeah, pretty strong for a liquer, more of a weak liquor. Veev recipes More Veev recipes It tastes pretty danged good straight. Could be dangerous stuff, I'm almost glad it's that expensive. If I get a bottle, I'll drink it like expensive Scotch or brandy, and make it last. You were lost at the first course? I reiterate, LIGHTWEIGHTS. The chardonnay was pretty good. I don't like chards in general, but it went well with the food, so I drank it, normally I would have skipped a chard. The red was a decent drink, too. Anyone remember the name? It tasted very merlot-like, which I prefer in reds. All in all, very good drinks. My only disappointment on the alcohol side was that the only 2 beers they had were extremely hoppy, and I don't like hopped beers. I couldn't even finish the one bottle of IPA, and when I went back to ask if they had anything else, he said the other was HopHeads, and I know that one is crazy hoppy. Oh dear, now it sounds like all we did is drink. Not so, there were SO many nice snacks circulating before dinner, and the communal dinner trays were devoured within seconds. I do have to thank Tony for getting me to try vegan for the first time Sunday brunch. A very good breakfast plate. All the tastes I wanted were there, and I'm pretty much a diehard carnivore. Now I have to wonder just how good their Reuben was, after Tony mentioned it Sat night.
who knows where to get that custom Braw.. with the mouth on it and the Sun shade with Eyes on it.. love it.. got to get both WHere to get those CCD camera system that replaces the door mirrors on that Neat prius? what rims are those with the clear covers? or getting the covers from the rims?.. PM me with the answers if you can..
Hey There TF4624 I don't know if the owner of that "Disney Cars" Prius either made or purchased those items. As far as the C&A CCD Rear View Cameras, I'm sure if you "Google" it you may be able to find something or contact C&A. And in regards to these Rims: They are the Five Axis Designs S6:F Wheels S6:F - Wheels The Plastic covers are for reduction in Coefficient of Drag. I am unaware if they are available for street/highway usage as they are a concept addition to the Prius. You can contact Five Axis Designs at : FIVE:AD Products PM Sent as well Hope this helps Rodney
Beautiful shots - thanks for sharing! Looks like a really nice event. All those various Prii remind me when Saturn used to have their get togethers in Spring Hill, TN.
