If only this could be applied to Damien Hirst or Tracey Emin. The "artist" of the French piece fits right in with the bunch of pretentious w*****s who are currently making lots of money producing crap like this.

Under normal circumstances, I'd write what that looks like in French, so as not to offend the Americans. But "Un plug anal" doesn't really leave them guessing, does it? See - my going to private school was worthwhile: I developed excellent language skills. Actually, my French teacher was very into teaching us how to swear - although he didn't teach us that term as it would have got him into terrible trouble, especially as our Geography teacher got arrested for cottaging in the sand dunes - as he felt that it made the language more alive, and kept us motivated. I think he was right: I've been teaching my daughter words like "放屁" in Chinese, as it does make her more interested in the language.
There's a pile of scrap metal in DC that someone sold as "art". Art is in the eye of the beholder. If you can find the sucker (I mean patron), more power to you. That's one big plug. I didn't know there was a receptacle that large in France. Learn something every day.
