    But is it smart enough to not follow the train of cows into the slaughter house? Or maybe we should be asking, if there are signs if intelligence,, maybe we shouldn't be killing them for $2.99 happy meals.

    One of my dogs figured out how to work a snap link (to release herself) when I had her on a trammel line in the backyard. The first time I thought it was a fluke, but she did it a second time after that. And she isn't even the smartest dog we have.
