Speaking of movies (as we were in another thread) The Jaguar is a really marvelous movie. Starring Jean Reno, it concerns a ne'er-do-well, in debt to a gangster, who, to escape his debt, accepts the plea of an environmentalist (Jean Reno) to travel to the Amazon to recover the soul of a medicine man, stolen by a ruthless exploiter (Danny Trejo). The punk undergoes a complete transformation. There is plenty of the supernatural in this movie. While I do not believe in the supernatural, it does not bother me in an otherwise well-made movie, which this is. Five stars. Reviewers on NetFlix recommend watching the original French version, with English subtitles, rather than the dubbed English version. I watched the French + subtitles.
