Great movie! Sci-fi, but without any special effects or space ships, and yet it's a gripping story: A university professor tells a few of his colleagues (and one student) at a small, informal farewell party, that he was born 14,000 years ago in the upper paleolithic, and that every ten years or so, when people begin to notice that he never seems to get any older, he packs up and moves on. Available from NetFlix, and perhaps elsewhere. Highly recommended.
I'll have a look for it when I have the time for a movie. Similar-sounding titles I've seen include The Man Who Fell to Earth (not wonderful) and Quiet Earth (worth watching).
