Had to do necessary post-Sandy farm chores and hauled the diesel pick up out. Yes, there was an ignition to stick a key into but sadly and quickly realized: 1. I'm braking, what button do I push to start? Wait, where the hell? No big blue POWER button?! (Shock and horror!) Keys? I need a key? Where did I throw it? The Prius doesn't seem to care where I toss my keys on entry and start up... 2.No regenerative braking. 3. No silence when stopping (my immediate response was TWH when I continued to hear noise coming from the engine)... 4. Am I really this noisy on the road?! 5. No cool spaceship from planet Zok noises - just the diesel chug... or the Millenium Falcon running on 87 octane.... 6. And the worst - no P & G! No mileage gauges... Aaack! Addicted to the Kool-Aid, thoroughly and truly. Will be taking "the baby" to work tomorrow.
After owning a few cars with keyless ignition, I regularly get into my Ridgeline, buckle up, and then have to dig the keys out of my pocket. Doh!
My FJ Cruiser is my 20th century vehicle. Pearl S is my 21st century vehicle. She's smarter than I am. Wait, no, she's WAY smarter than I am!
