52.3 and 50.6 MPG, on a camping trip to southern Appalachians. This is mostly on Blue Ridge, maintaining avg ~44mph (speed limit 45), car loaded with 4 people + gear. Now back home and it is up to 62.6. Average for this oil change (@6500mi) dropped to 59.5 On a side note Michelin Energy Savers A/S are not good for mnt driving, side grip is horrible at best
why else would you go to mountains?? On a side note with modest suspension mods (rear bar and front braces) and load, car stayed flat sliding 4 wheels through corners. Much better then 2012 Sonata we had on Angelis Crest hwy. But that had grippier tires.
To climb them and get their good tidings. To see wild animals roaming free NOT run them over sliding through corners at top speed.
who knew that?? I should try it next time we didn't kill anyone except a maybe a few Monarchs which unfortunately unavoidable at any above walking speeds.. there were quite a few of them though as they are in the middle of migration now.
