It could be great if... 1. The seatbelt warning didn't sound while in park. 2. The front object detection didn't sound while in reverse. 3. The car didn't text me with window/ door unlocked warnings when I never exited the car. You would think these would all be common sense design decisions, and should be easy to implement via software. - Phil
Toyota is a car company not a software company... They have always sucked at software and will always continue to suck at it. If they were smart they'd build it all on an open source platform and allow users to share updated code and use crowd sourcing to fix the problems that they're too cheap and inept to fix in-house.
