Bought a little wheel cleaning brush. Round with sheepskin. I use that after scrubbing tires with course brush. btw, don't scrub alloy wheels or even hubcaps with coarse brush, will get scratched.

Two 5 gallon buckets with grit guards is great. I used to use a medium blue sponge with the microfiber fingers. Trouble is, the blue doesn't show the dirt on it as well as ... the white sheepskin mitt I now use (Some may not like sticking their hand in a sheepsking mitt though :)

It's tricky washing doors, lower panels. One pass across a dirty door and the mitt shows dirt in it. No problem, flip mitt over to do a little more, then rinse in 2nd bucket.

I still use the 'Jelly Blade' but only a little bit to get some big drops off. That's after sheeting water off.

I don't expect electric leaf blower to get all water off or dry the car, but it's good for getting water out of crevices like the rearview mirrors.

I have some decent waffle weave microfiber towels, but I don't expect to get the car completely dry with them. Towel is for getting most of the water up. Usually there is a film left over, maybe even tiny water spots...
No problem - a polishing cloth with some Quik spray wax on it helps finish the car. I dry pretty large sections at a time, like one side. Some places I'll spritz on the Quik wax on the car, but not too much to avoid overspray, then finish with polishing cloth. Much better for 'finishing' the car, plus you get some wax back which inevitably comes off during washing.

Drying used to seem the hard part. Now it's a little easier and goes quicker. I used to think washing was easier part. Now, washing is a little tougher when rinsing the mitt clean often. Improper washing can add marring to clear coat, so have to keep mitt, sponge or whatever clean.

I can spend 2 hours cleaning and detailing. That includes wiping door jams, under hood, putting tire shine on. You won't catch me doing this every week though. :)
