Having read a number of threads here regarding roof rack "whistling", when I recently sprung for one I ordered a Thule with their new "Aerotech" blades. They're shaped like an airfoil, probably worth a few bucks extra just for Cool Points. Best part -- I have yet to hear a sound from them. I'll have to run through a couple tanks before I know whether there's any MPG hit, but being as I rarely exceed 50 MPH on island I doubt it'll be significant. One thing, Thule -- could you PLEASE put some reasonable instructions in the kits? Sheesh.
