Thule Roof Rack (buy used or new) Got a roof rack question for you guys. I'm looking at the Thule rack system. Looking at getting a used set of 400XT off craigslist or a new 480. I know the 480 is newer but is there any improvements over the 400XT? Are current Thule add-ons (I plan to get a kayak mount too) compatible with the 400xt load bars? New 480 with feet (no lock), load bars and prius kit for $300 Used 400XT with feet (w/ locks), load bars, wind deflector and two rockymounts fork bike mount (w/ lock) for $250. I would have to buy the 2124kit ($67) which will bring the grand total to $317.
