This CNN article really takes the cake. Having observed how US media worked into a frenzy since the beginning of the month over Toyota-recalls, this article truly represents how the media folks had gone bonkers! I don't know Tigerwood had experienced any SUD (sudden-unintended-indiscretion) nor issued any public apology (yet). The closest association between the two entities is the 27 Nov accident which involves a vehicle, a tree and a fire hydrant. AFAIK, no Toyota was harm during that process.
For Toyota to be 'more merrier' than Tiger, I would think that Akio Toyoda would have to be guilty of serial assignations to such an extent that the assignations diverted his attention from the quality problems of his company. I think that hasn't happened as yet.
