got the car tinted today. after the car gets a bath, i'll throw up a picture. what does everyone else do with the lower-rear window? it's already somewhat tinted, the upper window tint is now darker, but it isn't a noticeable difference. what has everyone else done?
I left it alone. Its stock tint is 29% if i remembered correctly, which is perfect because i was going for 30% all around.
I put 20% over the stock....It matches the 5% on the rear hatch. I can still see out of it perfect and the heat reduction is a bonus
My tint shop wouldn't put film on it. They even incorrectly stated that the reason was that it was plastic not glass. But as stated above, it is already tinted, so it pretty much matches the 35% ceramic tint applied to the rest of the windows.
I did nothing with it but it is lighter than the 28% ceramic tinted windows on the rest of the car. I've thought about having them but a little 50% on it to even out the look.
