My car already had window tint when I got it but it's fairly light. I'd like darker, at least in the back. Can tint be put on top of other tint?

Not advisable. Old tint should be removed first before retinting.

I sort of figured that. I'll have to check with the tint guy to see what that costs.

if orgianal tint is few months old it be fine. Also depend by case by case very old cheap tint is very difficult to remove! So I can't stress put the best on ! Labor is the same! You can have a suit made of canvas or silk the labor is the same!

It's a 2015 so the tint can't be more than a year old at most I guess.

    How about the factory tint?
My 2013 came with sort of a yellow tint right off the dealer lot.

Showed it to a "Tint Guy" when I was considering having a clear bra, and he really didn't like it.

It's not dark enough IMO to be very functional as a real window tint. But it is there.
