Blew my Cig fuse for the second time - these things are a *bear* to remove... Anyone done this? It seems simple, but needle nose, tweezers, dental pick - all with no luck... Maybe there's a special Toyota tool
I know what you mean. When I was looking for a tap line for my rear view mirror I had pull a couple of fuse and yest the best way is with a plastic nose needle nose.
They make a plastic thing that is like a wide tweezer just for this. You might check the fuse and electrical area of your local auto parts store. I'm surprised there isn't one in the fuse block - many manufacturers include one that pulls out for use.
I have the same issue with my cig fuse. First time to try to replace. Can you please tell me WHERE the fuse box is, and which fuse it is? Thx
There are two fuse boxes - both have labels for what each fuse does. The fuse box under the hood (drivers side front) has the fuse puller. The fuse box you want is right above where your left knee would be when driving. Unless you are a contortionist with good lighting, it's really hard to get at and see... BTW - I'm selling a full set for $5.50 - PM me if interested... (2) 5A (2) 10A (2) 15A (2) 20A (2) 25A (2) 30A
