Tire gage accuracy! Anyone have a brand/model number of a air pressure tire gage that is always dead on?
i use a digital guage that is very accurate and will easily do .5 pound increments. got it at one of the autozone type of stores. easy to use . cost about 10 bucks
Consumer Reports rates them from time to time. Check the May '02, page 57 issue for one. I don't have that issue anymore.
I did a quick search for digital gauges on Amazon. Here are the top 3 that I found http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B000B6JJUK?tag=priuschatcom-20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B000BNS7Y2?tag=priuschatcom-20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B000RN4GXC?tag=priuschatcom-20
I bought the racing tire gauge. It's great. Overfill a little once and deflate to your desired pressure using the bleed valve.
Keep in mind, that just because a guage is digital, and reads in 0.5 pound increments, that doesn't mean it's accurate.
