I have a 2012 PiP with the basic package. Looking at the Prius Plug in Display Audio with Navigation Owners Manual, on page 193 is says after you press 'car' there will be a screen button to display the tire pressures. Even looking at the Prius Plug in Display Audio without Navigation Owners Manual, it shows the same thing, on page 85. Curiously, in both cases it shows the physical 'car' button on the left of the physical display, while my 'car' button is to the right of the physical display. Does anyone know how to display tire pressures using the display? Thanks in advance.
There's no mention of such a feature in the Owner's Manual for the Premium HDD Navigation that comes with the Advanced trim. Other Base owners have reported this feature is missing as well: No Tire pressure readout? | PriusChat
That was my conclusion, too. I spoke with Ron DeLong at ScanGuage headquarters and he said that the tire pressures are not on the CAN BUS. Tire pressures are accessed by the scan tool at the OBD II port through non CAN BUS pins. When they get around to it, ScanGuage hopes to be able to add this feature.
