Tire pressure warning system reset not working?

    Just rotated the tires and adjusted pressure as part of 20K service. I dug up the user's manual and followed the instruction to reset the tire pressure warning system:
    IG-ON
    Push and hold reset button
    Now the tire warning light was supposed to blink slowly 3 times, but it didn't. It just lights up, and then turns off some time later, while I am still holding down the reset button.

    What did I do wrong? :confused:
