What is the tire of choice for a 2015 Prius Five?
Best combo of efficiency, traction, low noise, wear
In Southern CA so no snow, little rain

You're posting in the gen5(2023-) section of the board. You're going to get a better answer to that question in either the gen3(2010-2015) section(if you have a 2015 Prius V - the top trim regular Prius) or the Prius v section(if you have a 2015 Prius v - the bigger Prius).

Go back to the main page and scroll down to find the appropriate section.

Except then he'll have duplicate threads. For expedience, I'll report it, one-and-only moderator will move it, all good.
I went with Michelin Primacy MXM4. In the criteria you mention, efficiency is definitely taking a backseat, especially when new. A few years later it's coming back, I'm trying harder, getting complacent. Anyway, apart from that, it's been a very smooth, dependable tire for us.

Oh, and it says "Green-X", apparently Michelin's Low Rolling Resistance badge, but shouldn't put too much weight on that.

The tires that came on the car, new, were Michelin Pilot HX MXM4. They also had the Green-X badge, and I would say they earned it honestly. Not sure if they're still in production, the car's build-date was August 2009. One thing, they did crack pretty bad towards the end, but that was after at least 10 years in use, over 11 years from the tire's manufacture date.
