A friend of mine works at TireRack. He was one of the drivers in this study. I found it pretty interesting. When Round and Black Becomes Lean and Green
Great article. Too bad TireRack didn't run snow and ice tests. BTW, this TireRack article has been the subject of at least two other previous threads.
I just purchased the Michelin Energy Saver AS 195X65X15 about 400 miles ago. I purchased at Costco and have 44 psi of Nitrogen in all 4 tires. They replaced my AVID toyo tires. So far I am gaining about 2 or maybe 3 more MPG's so far. They are still breaking in and I imagine they will get better. My original Toyo tires had almost 11,000 miles on them. alfon
