all, I purchased a used '04 Prius with 120,000 miles on it. Now that things are icing up around here, I recently checked my tire deprth. If I stick a penny in it with Abe's head facing down, the tread line meets the top of the head. This pretty much means they are near the end of their life correct? Who would you recommend I go through for new tires? I have Les Schwab, Costco, America's Tire, and Tire Factory nearby. Who has the best prices for these special tires? Also, has anyone purchased online through a dealer and put them on themselves? Thanks!!
If you have a Costco nearby, go there and get Michilin Enegry saver A/S. If you have to order them you have enough tread left to do that.
