Very bright, insightful, entertaining writer, passed away. Looking through our bookshelfs, I'm sure I had a hard copy of The Bonfire of the Vanities somewhere, could just find a backup paperback. A Man in Full, couldn't put it down. I've got a dog-eared Electric Koolaid Acid Test, somwhere... Can't find that short story compilation, about the mid-Atlantic Man, Carol Doda, the Cabby Who Ate Himself Out of a Job. Anyway, sad to hear he's gone.
