As of November 2007, Toyota had sold 510,325 in the US. In 2008, Toyota sold more than 150,000. I'm pretty sure they were higher than that for '09, and on track to exceed 200,000 for '10. So, I suspect that we are approaching 1,000,000 Prii in the US. World-wide, I think Toyota reached this number in 2007.
Yes. Check Wiki but as of 2007, over 513,000 had been sold since 2000. Then we have: 158,884 - 2008 sales ~54,000 - Jan-Jun 2009 So the number should be over 700,000 by now. I expect to see in the next 6-8 months 1,000,000 Prius have been sold in the USA (and/or North America.) Bob Wilson
