I have a 2010 Prius III. I can no longer turnoff the touchscreen. Normally, I would press the DISP button (bottom right) which would bring up the softbutton for "Screen Off". Now when I press the DISP button, the softbutton "Screen Off" flashes on and then quickly disappears before I can select it. I have unplugged the 12V battery thinking a reset would help. It doesn't. Related -- if I have a bluetooth device connected when I press the DISP button, it will also rewind whatever I'm listening to. It seems to have the same effect as pressing the back-arrow button on bluetooth connected device. Dealership wanted to charge me a $125+ diagnostic fee. Thoughts?
Compromised touch screen? Did you clean it recently and maybe press too hard (which is not difficult to do)?
