TORRANCE, Calif., July 1 -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today for the 2006 model year Camry mid-size sedan. Toyota also announced price adjustments for the 2006 Camry Solara coupe and convertible, 2005 RAV4 sport utility vehicle (SUV), and 2005 Prius mid-size gas-electric hybrid sedan. Camry, America's best-selling car for the past three years and seven of the past eight years, carries over unchanged for 2006. The base MSRP for the 2006 Camry sedan ranges from $18,445 for the Standard grade with a four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission, to $25,805 for the premium XLE grade with a V6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Overall, the Camry sedan combined base MSRP increases by $250, or 1.2 percent. The price adjustment for the 2006 Camry will take effect beginning July 1.
