    Hi

I have bought a Auris Hybrid 2011 with some problems. I think it is the same system on a Prius.

My main problem is that it do not start

I connect battery and thing looks ok, push start and then everything gets black and dead.

Light on start switch is not green, orange I think. I have tried with key beside the switch also.
    I only have 1 key.

I do not have brake light, circuit on brake switch looks ok. I think other lights works.

All fuses in engine bay looks ok, is it other location also?

Hybrid batteri is over 50% on display.

I got half tank with new fuel.

My Foxwell NT680 obd can conect, but do not read any codes. This diagnostic normally takes most cars.

Any suggestion where to start fix this?

Car have been stored in 6 mnd, but ower have started the car every 4th week i was told. After that did it not start, Toyota dealer used 3 hours on it. Only conclusion was that brake pedal did not have signal. Owner stopped fixing it and want to scrap it, then I bought it to scrap value.

Not my first Toyota, but my first Hybrid. Mostly diesel cars I fix.

    Thanks

In your country this car is 2zz 1.8 engine car like Corolla But with a CVT transmission with electric motors inside of it engine looks like a Corolla but it's not it's a detuned version. If a Toyota dealer looked over this car for 3 hours and thought the brake pedal switch might possibly be at fault not sure how they would get to this conclusion I would certainly be starting somewhere around that usually when the start button goes orange that's not a good thing I don't think so there's something keeping you from readying the car? So you never see the words READY or the letters ready You have to get there before the car will do anything there's a whole lot of conditions to be met The Toyota manual for this car should be online for you to look at it will be thousands of pages very large.

Have you charges the 12v battery? Or replaced it?
It's probably weak. You said you don't get lights.
That is the easiest and fastest thing to check. And since the car has been
sitting, they probably didn't keep a charge on it.
"I connect battery and thing looks ok, push start and then everything gets black and dead."

There is a fuse box under the left side of the dash by the parking brake pedal.
Unless you have a right hand drive car, than it may be on the other side, not sure about that.
But there is a fuse box under the dash.
