Investigative reporters for the Detroit Press have discovered a shocking conspiracy between two Japanese auto giants. Shockingly, Toyota’s popular Prius Hybrid is actually a recycled Datsun B-210, which was also popularly known as the “HoneyBee“ Toyota faces a crisis as they have scoured the world’s junkyards and will soon deplete the entire global supply of the “HoneyBee†resulting in a production crisis, not to mention damage to both company's reputations. While many Prius owners wait months for delivery, this explains Toyota’s flimsy excuses about ’production delays’ and ’supply and demand’. It may also explain that vague feeling of déjà vu and mild nausea most 40-something Prius owners felt upon first seeing the Prius as well as a deeply disturbing desire to wear a polyester leisure suit with platform shoes. And yet, 33 years later, Detroit is still trying to match the B-210's 37.9 highway mpg in an equally reliable package.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(K2D2 @ Nov 5 2006, 12:38 PM) </div> I assume this is a joke of some kind. What about the "HoneyBee" is supposed to be a Prius? I think even the first generation Prius was a four door, and didn't look anything like the photo of the B-210. Certainly, the current generation Prius doesn't look anything like the B-210. Dave M.
