I called my Toyota dealer yesterday, they quoted me $3k+$1350 core for a new Hybrid battery Is this the NEW price, or just my local dealer? Call your local dealer and find out their price = Do not trust the advertised price on the internet.
From a few other recent posts, it seems to be a thing. Dealer part prices seem to move unpredictably, both upward and downward. I noticed gen 3 brake actuators were close to $2k when I first started looking, then they were more like $700 for a while, then they went up a bit from there but not to where they started, etc....
That's just regular abusive the situation type of marketing that's all so I'll be holding off on battery purchases until well things happen Toyota's building a battery plant 30 mi up the road from me what they're going to do with it I don't know as the current climate they probably will never get finished building it and start working it because well seems to be a thing
