here i have attached the picture of the oil i used for my Prius III. (ODO meter is 15000km) can I run 10K (kilometer) with this oil, or should i change oil before. thank you Diluk
If this oil doesn't meet the specifications called for in the owner's manual, I wouldn't use it. Shouldn't you be using 0W20?
Nor does it look like a synthetic oil, as specified by Toyota. I would not leave it in my engine over 8000 km
Toyota spec's different oils around the world. For example in Australia they say anything up to 20W50 is ok. And I've not seen anything from Toyota saying it has to be synthetic. In North America they say 0W20, or 5W20 in a pinch. I think most, if not all, 0W20's are synthetic, but that's just reading between the lines, there's no statement from them that it has to be synth oil. Also, in Canada, the regular interval is still 5000 miles. Bottom line, you have to make your own decision.
I like how that Sri Lankan front end is completely clear. There are no orange reflectors at all. Anyway, Toyota has varying requirements for oil changes worldwide. In the US, 5w30 oil is allowed for 5000 miles oil change interval or ~8000 km.
