Toyota Prius braking problem

    my toyota prius 2008 model started showing braking malfunctioning signs. last week i drove the car a bit hard on the speed breaker and the car started to brake down to zero automatically. and usually its brake becomes a bit too hard. like if i slightly tap on brake. the car brakes too hard. what could possibly be the reason.

    Do you have the orange lights on the dash the! With the half circles the ABS the skid control not really worried about the check engine light now but it may or may not be on and what about to the leftt of the eyebrow display Do you see the red letters b r a k e and they stay continuously lit? Please if you can answer these questions sounds like maybe your break actuator is going south and that is pretty common on these cars
