Where would I find a list or report where most Toyota Prius is located, by city and state? if there is such a thing. Thanks grm
New car sales are documented by location fairly well... But according to you profile your car is 18 years old and if that's what you're trying to research there's not gonna be much data left that's still valid from that long ago. Perhaps if you explained why you need this data we could find an alternative method? But your request is too vague to do that right now.
Yes, but with all the cat theft and the dramatic decline of Prius popularity I bet the number of Prius in that state is less than 1/2 of what it used to be.
You'd be surprised, the gas prices are still sky high, regardless of catalytic thefts. I believe there are more Prius now that ever before. You can buy insurance on the car so it's not that bad if you have the coverage.
Thank goodness for some plunging precious metal prices. Palladium down about 50%, rhodium down about 75% from peaks two years ago.
I've seen several reports of reduced theft rates this year, mentioning both new laws and falling metal prices. Yes I would hope the theft rates would get reduced. In CA, you would need to show ownership of the Catalytic converter before scrapping it now. So the black market for this stuff isn't as big anymore.
