I'd think a FWD Sienna could beat a Supra in the snow. Sports cars don't usually come to mind for winter driving.
So was the minivan. Today's technology can make a RWD car better equipped to handle snow, but FWD still starts with an advantage when there it has more of the car's weight over the drive wheels. Then the high power of the Supra could be a hindrance on the snow even if it was FWD or AWD, as it is easier to apply too much power and spin the wheels. More so when at a stop, which is where a drag race is usually won. Of course AWD will provide extra help in getting the car going. The article's title implies that eAWD is even better, when that isn't the case, "...drag racing a RAV4 Hybrid against a regular, gasoline-only RAV4, both with AWD, proved the two were pretty much equals..." More interesting would be seeing how they would fare against a Subaru or Wrangler.

We'd like you to write a snappy entertaining article that makes that sound interesting. Think you could do about 750 words by Tuesday? That would be great."
