One of the two plants molding brush-holders for the pump motor brushes replaced an upper mold in the machine on April 11th this year, and about 6,925 cars got built with poorly-shaped brush holders, where the brush might not move smoothly and stay in good contact with the armature.
Very hard to say how long it would take a pump motor whose brush holder was molded after April 11th to move through the supply pipeline and end up in an assembled Prius. Probably easiest to let Toyota announce the affected VINs or other way of determining whether your car is in the 6,925 affected. Edit: ok, I guess they did give a production date range for the cars, and May 2019 would be right in it:
