Hi people. Yesterday I went to the San Jose Auto Show and I went to Toyota's Highway to the Future trailer (website: toyota.com/highway). There were basil seed packets with barcodes and machines that would give you points. When you exit the trailer, you would scan the barcode a last time and redeem the points for prizes. There were 3 prizes, a pencil when you got 50 points, a tree that Toyota would plant at 350 points (I'm not too clear about that), and a flashlight at 650 points. The machines would give you points in increments of 50 or 100. When I went through it I got 750 points and I got the flashlight (you get to keep the basil seeds). The flashlight has an LED in it, says TOYOTA on one side and has the Hybrid Synergy Drive logo on the other. I will try to get a picture of the flashlight and post it later. I am also wondering if there are any other things Toyota gives away. -Orion
There are. We get accessories every time we service. So far we've received: small torch fleece blanket umbrella tyre pressure gauge (2) ice scraper/snow brush combo "Toyota Touch" exterior detailing kit (shampoo, wash mitt, tyre dressing) (2) collapsable soft case beverage cooler Plastic tumbler handcrank LED torch From car purchases: Gold plated Toyota emblem pin 2002 Camry "So striking, it's distracting" poster Ceramic tumbler We didn't get anything for the Prius, though.
I've got a glass made from a wine bottle, a backpack and a pen that lights up. I also have a few T shirts, caps and the keychain.
