Yesterday after I had a stop at gas station, for a refill, I started, drive for 200-300m and the 4 amber lights appeared and the battery stopped from charging and only the termic engine was running. I stopped and turned off and on for a few times and only the termic engine started, no ev light on, no clicking at the hybrid battery as normal. I've been at a friend's garage and removed the code and it's back to normal. He said that 2 cells are weak and in the near future needs to be changed. Today was ok. Any thoughts?! Thanks!
unfortunately, the lights only mean there are trouble codes stored. they will come on again, and when they do, ask him to read the codes and post them here
Happened again today. Code p0a80. I had dr. Prius opened and cell 7 or 8 got small and red, the car lost power and when I tried to press a bit more the gas pedal, the lights came out. I've done 500 miles since first time appeared. And was all ok, till now. I've deleted the code and all normal again. Though I think, but not sure, the buzzing from the inverter is more often than before.
