My TPMS light comes on for a day or so and then goes off. Tires are checked and all is well. Should I recalibrate it or do you think there may be a defective sensor?

If you know the tire pressure is where you want to run it, have you tried hitting the TPMS reset button next to the OBDII connector to set the TPMS alarm point? The system is set up to alarm at a 25% loss of tire pressure based on your normal tire pressure setting. There is a procedure in your owner's manual explaining how to reset the TPMS.

With this cooler weather your tire pressure will fluctuate between cold mornings and warmer afternoons. It sounds like you may be right on the border line of alarming.
