Noticed the traction battery fan and ducting in my 2013 C two was very dirty and the installed filter wasn't even a filter...but a screen with about 1/8" grid spacing that would really only stop a decent size hairball. It was mounted to the fan housing with double stick tape...I removed it and was able to install the tighter screen filter pictured below that I assume most cars should have. Did Toyota re-engineer the filter at some point and decide it wasn't worth keeping the traction battery ducting clean, or maybe they got sick of batteries overheating because folks weren't cleaning the good filter?
