Web searches show alot of used 2nd gen transaxles/ecvt/power split/tranny aka power energy transfer for sale. How come no remanufacted/rebuilt units
Probably because the number of salvage units is large enough, the number of failures is small enough, and the knowledge required to rebuild is specialized enough, so that it doesn't make economic sense for a third party to offer rebuild services.
