Does anyone know the dimensions of the transaxle washers (PN 90430-18008)? I was thinking of buying some from mcmastercarr, but I'm not sure if they will work. Also, if anyone knows the dimensions of the washer used to seal the engine oil inside its pan, let me know! kehyler
Was the second set of dimensions an accidental repeat or the dimensions of the engine washer? kehyler

We just posted at the same time. His was accepted first. It happens from time to time. The Gen III Prii eliminated the little ceramic magnet in the drain plug that was supplied in the Gen II. It gathers a lot of iron and steel worn from the gears and floats around in the fluid. When you changed the transaxle fluid, did you find a magnetic drain plug? I didn't. | PriusChat I made a special custom neodymium "rare earth" drain plug and easy to use hex head drain plugs, when I drained and refilled my transaxle at 13k miles. My transaxle fluid change and NEW custom drain and fill plugs... | Page 2 | PriusChat I'm glad I did, because NOW, I know that those particles are caught and not floating in the fluid and causing more wear on the transaxle components.
The last time I changed transaxle fluid I bought a couple of washers at my local Toyota dealership parts department, for $1.99 each, along with the fluid. Just tell them what you want, no need to quote part number or dimensions.
If you bought the Assenmacher TOY640 oil filter cartridge wrench, the 24mm or 15/16 inch hex on the drain plugs that I made are familiar to you, since the Assenmacher wrench uses the same hex socket.
Mike, have you changed your fluid since adding the magnet? I'm curios to see the actual amount of particles that are trapped.
I took the plug out after just 200 miles. There was already pieces of iron/steel dust on the magnet. I lost about 3 ounces of fluid changing plugs, but luckily, I had enough left over from the four quarts to replace it.
