Hi I got a message on my screen that has since dissappeared. It read "There is a problem with the transmission "P" lock mechanism. Park your car on a flat surface and fully appy parking break. What does this all mean? Thank you
It certainly may mean that your 12 volt battery is at end of life. One alternative source for a 12 v battery: 12 Volt (12v) Toyota Prius Auxilary Battery for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 with installation kit
Is this different than the error you get when you have a door open and go into drive? Like not closing the hatch fully?
