Our country is covered by 5-10 cm of snow and -15°C Fortunately I found some time before Christmas to test 1.5 month old Prius 2010. Yesterday I changed tyres from 17" to 15" winter Bridgstone LM20 (not a fresh ones - they were on my Corolla for 3 seasons, but still in a good condition). The electronic assistants worked VERY well in all conditions, I was able to test. Almost impossible to slide a car. Let see video from today morning.....
Here are a couple videos that someone else did. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...sted-out-trac-vsc-abs-tonight.html#post982088 and http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...ed-out-trac-vsc-abs-tonight-2.html#post982113
Thanks for the video! You need to yank the steering wheel a little harder to spin the car but it is possible. But under normal driving conditions, yes it's impossible to slide the car.
