I appreciate Tony's log on the PHEV but Green Drive Expo has more stuff going on. Did anyone write up a trip report? presenters - who had booths, what did they show? characters - who was there, what did they say? As expected, Monday was 'take Holly to Nashville day.' Other than driving at 75+ mph in 95F with AC blasting on the way up 47 MPG as well as returning at the peak of rush hour, same temps 51 MPG, nothing remarkable to report. Fuel economy could have been better . . . still, Holly and the dogs were happy. I did all the driving, 120 miles each way which passed nicely thanks to an iPod filled with favorites: Moody Blues Joe Cocker Bruce Springsteen Crash Test Dummies Firesign Theater The Band Bob Dillon Pink Floyd Linda Ronstad Spotted Cow Devo The Byrds Beatles Bob McNally Donovan Duran Duran ELO Jefferson Airplane John Hiatt Leon Russell Levon Helm REM It is so nice to have enough favorites and variety to spend hours enjoying the drive. Then there are the podcasts. Still, I missed not getting to go to Madison this year but sometimes life gets busy. Bob Wilson
