Trunk sensor requires slam to close on Prius V

    I have an interesting problem, for years, where I close my trunk, and the door ajar beep goes off, but if I SLAM the trunk, the beep turns off. Any way I can fix this? 2013 Prius V.

    Trunk plunger switch is loose. Tighten it up.
