Trusted NYC mechanic for a pre-buy inspection?

    we are about to buy a 2010 Prius II through the Hertz Rent2Buy program. Their Autocheck report notes one accident not mentioned in the CarFax report (hmm). Can anyone recommend a mechanic in NYC, preferably Manhattan, so can have it checked out? Any any opinions about the Rent2Buy program are also welcome.
